About us
Our story
The Beginning
In 2023, Luminous Productions and the TAG Art Company joined forces to produce a Fort Wayne-based children’s program for kids ages three through ten. Through this collaboration, Troy Ganser and Rod Ovitt formed a new company called Fun Farm Studios.

The Concept
The concept of Fun Farm had been Troy’s dream for many years. When he shared it with Rod, something ignited, and they haven’t looked back since! Fun Farm Studios is proud to announce the Fun Farm Show is now streaming on YouTube and other social media channels with new episodes published each week.
The Program
Our program is family-friendly, full of virtuous lessons that kids love and parents value! That’s why our prelaunch shows pushed an explosion of Facebook followers among viewers here in the U.S. and in other countries.

INSPIRATION
It began on an actual farm in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the home of T.A.G. Art, a kid-centric play park of adventure, farm animals and fun. Complete with a castle, pirate ship, spaceship and more, the farm inspired the concept of Fun Farm. Characters were developed, scripts were written, sets were designed, and cameras rolled. Through the magic of video and animation, Fun Farm episodes are now available on many platforms.
TJ & Mr. G
TJ the Turtle takes on the persona of a typical child between the ages of three and ten with all the curiosity, mood swings, and attention span of most children watching the program.
Mr. G is the caretaker who offers wisdom, extends patience, and gives practical guidance to TJ as they experience routine days together and learn about life. Through extension, children watching the program are taught how to deal with similar situations through a conversational and reassuring pace. Relatable situations are scripted into each episode with a young child’s mindset and emotions in mind to help build thinking skills and emotional resilience.

Behind the art
(fun with serious intention)
There are many well-meaning people attempting to put out a good product, unfortunately, many of them haven’t done their homework. The majority of kid’s programs today are too erratic and overstimulating for children.
Children are exposed to nonsensical shapes and splashes with very bright colors—all moving at a very fast pace.
This is not just our opinion, it’s rather the result of many serious psychological research studies published in magazines, such as Psychology Today, Physiology & Behavior, Journal of Environmental Psychology, Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, and the Medical Journal of Pediatrics.
We have also considered the psychology of design and color in developing this program.
